《USO？！ JAPAN》这个节目主要是去找寻传说中奇异事件，再由外景主持人进行调查事实真相。同时这个节目也有开放观众一起参与。每一集都有排行前十名的奇异事件，这些事件当然不会只有恐怖鬼怪的，不然整整一个小时的时间，会把观众吓得整个人皮肉分离。也许是因为日本人做事情严谨，即使调查这样的事情也不可马虎，观众这时就可以看到平日穿著金光闪闪舞台服的偶像，如今却得深入大多人不敢去的地方，面对另一个空间的事物。 　节目中除了实地进行察访之外，也有三个单元让人毛骨悚然，第一个就是数十年前曾经红极一时「鬼话连篇」当中的灵异照片，由小仓弘子负责的这个部份，她不是只拿一张照片就算了事，制作单位还将整张照片放大，甚至用红圈框起来，让观众看个清楚，曾经在一张灵异照片当中，居然有现场观众看到同一张照片有另一个奇异景象，反过来告诉主持群的奇异状况。另一个单元是CD内奇异声音重现，现场会播放某些在歌词当中出现的怪声，由于是现场播放，每一次都会引发观众尖叫连连，这些奇异歌曲还包括了许多知名艺人的作品，不过这类事件并不是频频发生，再加上可能对专辑销售有部份影响，这个单元日后也较少出现。第三个部份是录像带恐怖影象，制作群搜集相关电影奇异现象片段，其中包括最著名的「三个奶爸一个娃」和「贞子复活」等电影。

For the first time since the Vietnam War, Bob Hope entertains United States armed service members for his classic USO Christmas show, in this case members of the U.S. Navy and Marines serving in the multi-national peace-keeping force in Beirut, Lebanon, along with British, French, and Italian troops, from 1982-1984. Highlights include a segement where Hope endures the same constant gunfire that plagued Lebanon from 1975 through the early-1990's.

La Bola de Cristal was a Spanish TV Show that aired on TVE from 1984 to 1988. The show was the brainchild of Spanish writer Dolores Rico Oliver and was hosted by pop singer Alaska. The show, which was ostensibly targeted at a young audience, reflected the spirit of the times, that of the post-Franco Spanish transition and of the cultural and musical movement known as la movida. In contrast to previous shows, with a very childish use of language, it had continuous puns related to electronics: the Electroduendes puppets included Maese Cámara, Hada Vídeo and Bruja Avería as regular characters.

When the United States entered World War II, President Roosevelt exempted Bob Hope from military service because of the need for entertainers. So began Bob's lifelong career entertaining U.S. troops at home and abroad. When the USO (United Service Organizations) was formed, Bob Hope was the perfect person to be its headliner, bringing "a bit of home" to front lines and military hospitals around the world.
